alternative emo, folk punk, indie punk, modern rock

Chords: A, D, E, F#5
Artist: Antarctigo Vespucci
Track: I Drew You Once in Art Class (Acoustic)
Album: I'm So Tethered
Performance: A Fistful of Vinyl Sessions on KXLU Los Angeles

It's important to note that many of the lyrics on this tab are different to those that appear on the official
EP version. However, this is based off the acoustic live session Chris Farren performed on KXLU Los Angeles
radio show and are accurate to that performance. In the same fashion, some of the chords may differ to
those used on the EP. However, I don't think Chris Farren cares.

Intro: A, D, A, D, A, D, E

Verse 1:
A D A D A
I tried to paint a picture of you to prove I still think of you,
        D E
but the face I drew, it more resembled mine.
A D A D A
Went to buy you some nice things, but bought a record by The Kinks
  D E
a band you have always told me does not appeal to you in any way.

Chorus:
A E D
When will I ever get it right?
A E A
When will I ever treat you right?

Interlude: D, A, D, A, D, E

Verse 2: ($ Omitted Lines)
A D A D A
The love songs all go unreleased, B-sides of lesser memories,
                  D E
and yet you have been there for me since the very first record I ever wrote myself.

Chorus:
A E D
When will I ever get it right?
A E D
When will I ever treat you right?
   F#5 E A D
My eyes won’t settle anywhere, my mind is in the atmosphere.
A D A
When will I ever treat you right?

Interlude: D, A, D, A, D, E

Oh oh, you know, I can wear nice clothes.
A * D * E * D *
Oh oh, you know, I can be romantic.
A * D * E (Strum)

A E D
When will I ever get it right?
A E D
When will I ever treat you right?
    F#5 E
I'm gonna leave when you say you wanna leave,
    A D
and shut up when you say you need to sleep.
A E D
Today I'm going to treat you right.

Outro:
A D E D
Oh oh, you know, I can be romantic.
A D E A
Oh oh, you know…

$ On the EP, Chris sings: "Meant to tell you how I felt but I started talking to someone else, about some
brilliant bullshit record I've been working on for years. The love songs all go unreleased, b-sides of
lesser memories, and yet you have been there for me since the very first record I ever wrote myself."

However, in this acoustic performance he omits the first two lines which is why they are not featured in this
tab. If you are keen to use these chords along side the correct EP lyrics, follow the same pattern of chords.
