Annie was born into a musical family, with both father and grandfather, (the latter a well-known flautist in the London/Irish music scene in the late 1940s), proving instrumental in Annie’s musical upbringing. Annie’s song writing has been influenced by timeless, classic female artists such as Joni Mitchel and Carol King.
Annie’s first major breakthrough came in 2014 with the release of her debut EP “Some Day”. Her song “Some Day” picked up considerable radio play on BBC Radio 2 amongst others, and many other songs were featured on various TV adverts including IKEA and Puma. Some Day has over a million streams on Spotify and her videos on YouTube have hundreds of thousands of views.
2014 also saw her perform live at Porchester Hall in London with Above & Beyond, before playing a string of shows in LA. Receiving huge acclaim and introducing Annie to a new avenue of fans captivated by her voice.
‘Fall At Your Feet’ represents a focused move towards a more mature sound; the stripped back production allows Annie’s incredible voice to shine as timeless stories of love and heartache are elevated by soaring strings and heartfelt crescendos.
