Biography
After blowing everyone away on the eighth season of American Idol, Adam released his debut album ‘For Your Entertainment’ which featured collaborations with Lady Gaga, Pink, Max Martin, and Muse’s Matt Bellamy. It spawned the International hit ‘Whataya Want From Me’ which earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. His second album ‘Trespassing’, featuring collaborators Pharrell and Nile Rodgers, debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard charts and became the first album to reach the number one spot in the US and Canada by an openly gay artist. In 2013 he appeared as a guest star on the hit TV series ‘Glee’. Adam released his highly anticipated third album ‘The Original High’ in 2015, which entered the worldwide chart at no. 3 and featured the hit single ‘Ghost Town’. The album, his debut for Warner Bros Records, was executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback. After a sold-out world tour to support the album, he went on to play Eddie in the Fox version of the ‘Rocky Horror Show’ and later that year finished his stint as a winning judge on The X Factor Australia.
